OREGON CHAPTER LEADER

Srinidhi is a sophomore at Westview high school. STEM is something she is passionate about, and continues to learn about computer science everyday. She has even received awards in STEAM competitions like EngineerGirl and Ecybermission. As a chapter leader of GirlsComputingLeague, she hopes to share her passion for technology with other students, especially those who are underrepresented in the field.

MARYLAND CHAPTER LEADER

Vidhushi Kondabathini is a 6th grader going to Urbana Middle School. Vidhushi can code in Python, Java, and block coding. She was in FLL last year and made it to the States competition and Vidhushi was able to help in FTC. She went to the Annapolis Statehouse and presented about composting to people part of the Maryland government, so she could promote composting in more schools.

MARYLAND CHAPTER LEADER

Geethika Kondabathini is a 10th grader at Urbana High School in Frederick, MD and in the past 3 years she has learned Python, Java, AI, machine learning & robotics as well as taught classes such as python programming and geography to middle & high schoolers. She coached FLL, competed in FTC (state level), Science Olympiad (state level runner-up), & Academic Bee (3rd Place). Some of her other extracurriculars include dance & tennis and she has given several on-stage solo and group dance performances including a performance at the Indian Embassy in DC. She really enjoys teaching & mentoring kids, especially in fields relating to computer science & engineering.Chapter Mission:

NEW JERSEY CHAPTER LEADER

Sneha Kumar is from central New Jersey and a senior at Middlesex High School. She is passionate about computer science and health science and has organized and taught coding workshops to children. In her free time she enjoys playing piano and tennis. As a leader of the GCL New Jersey chapter Sneha hopes to spread her passion for computer science with other young girls and empower them to pursue their own careers in STEM fields.

NEW JERSEY CHAPTER LEADER

Rhea Chandragiri is a rising junior at High Technology High School. She has a passion for computer science and engineering, and enjoys competing in tournaments with High Tech’s VEX robotics team. She also enjoys semi-classical dance and photography. With her GCL chapter, Rhea hopes to inspire and assist underrepresented kids on their journey towards a future career in STEM.

Ashley Raigosa is currently a junior at Oakmont High School and is involved in multiple computer science organizations and projects. She is the Northern California Chapter leader and loves to program, work on robotics, and implement research. Furthermore, she is dedicated to helping minorities in computer science and working on projects for social good. Ultimately, she enjoys sharing her passion for programming with others and hopes to become involved with more people of diverse backgrounds!

Krish Maniar is currently a sophomore at The Harker School in San Jose, CA. His passions include computer science, machine learning research, physics, and math. In his free time, he enjoys playing competitive soccer and participating in debate and MUN conferences. As the leader of the GCL California Chapter, he hopes to instill a passion for CS in young girls through machine learning project-based workshops and AI conferences/summits.

Adhithi Chinta is currently a junior at Marquette High School in St.Louis, Missouri. Her passions include computer science, technology, and traveling. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and practicing her guitar. At school, she is involved in Speech and Debate, FBLA, HOSA, and CmPS. She is interested in Biomedical Engineering and Business/Economics and hopes to pursue one of these fields in the future.

PENNSYLVANIA CHAPTER LEADER

Claudia Hernandez is currently a High Honors senior at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, PA who is passionate about coding, AI, NASA, and helping girls and minorities make an impact in the field of computer science. She’s currently interning virtually at NASA and participating in NASA’s L’Space Mission Concept Academy, as well as the Founder and President of two coding clubs -one at her school and the other for girls 7-17 in her community. As GCL’s Pennsylvania Chapter leader, her goal is to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment filled with opportunities for girls to learn, explore, and grow in tech, ultimately helping to close the gender gap. In her spare time, Claudia enjoys reading Shakespeare, singing, and performing in musical theater.

TENNESSEE CHAPTER LEADER

Maitreya Dixit is a senior at Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN. He is strongly inclined towards the study of computer science, and has been interested in a STEM career from a young age. As a GCL chapter leader in Tennessee, he looks forward to spreading the love of computing by moderating two types of events: inviting effective guest speakers to engage and encourage students and organizing in-state competitions that offer incentives to participating students. In his free time, Maitreya enjoys learning how to problem solve using code, volunteering at local non-profits, and spreading moral and ethical knowledge to younger students through his club, Values Of Life.

Ananya Gourishetty is currently a Senior at Henrico High School, and apart of the International Baccalaureate program. She is extremely passionate about the world of science and everything that goes on behind medical advancements. Her work with the community is something she cherishes very much. The medical field is something that fascinates her to a very high extent. She loves being apart of the GCL team as it is an outlet for creativity, communication, and collaboration.

NEW HAMPSHIRE CHAPTER LEADER

From South Korea, Rachael Kim is currently a high school senior at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. She loves computer science and leads Girls who Code club at Exeter. Other than programming, her interests include playing softball and practising the piano. She also loves to watch sports like baseball and soccer. Through GCL, she hopes to make computer science more accessible to children of diverse backgrounds, especially those who are traditionally underrepresented minorities in the field of CS.

Alicia Wu is a 14 year old freshman at The Winsor School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is highly interested in computer science, despite being introduced to it recently. She seeks to expand her knowledge of CS throughout high school. Some of her other passions include competitive swimming, singing, piano, reading, biking, and experimenting with cooking.

As a mobile app developer and avid machine learning researcher, Rebecca loves to use her programming skills for social good, especially inspiring the next generation of technology enthusiasts. Although she is a senior in high school, she hopes to study computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence in college. In her spare time, she enjoys solving Sudoku and upcycling her clothes.

Nipun Grandhi is sixteen years old and is a rising junior at Flower Mound High School. He has a passion for robotics, aerospace, and building. He is fascinated by space exploration and flight on earth and hopes to use his interest to contribute to the future of space and aerospace technology. As the GCL Chapter Leader for Texas, he hopes to instill a passion for robotics and rocketry though many fun activities and workshops.

Sahana Sundar has helped raise funds for young cancer survivors, is on the teen advisory board of a public library, is the recipient of the President’s volunteer service Gold award and a special mention from the New York city chancellor on STEM night. Sahana is a proud Girl Scout cadette and a New York State student research award winner.

Passionate about community service and STEM, Sujay Sundar is a surveyist in his high school cabinet, has interned with his legislator on Crisis mitigation, and is on the teen advisory board of a public library. He is the recipient of the President’s volunteer service Gold award and a special mention from the New York City chancellor on STEM night.

ILLINOIS CHAPTER LEADER

Rishi is a junior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy who loves STEM and entrepreneurship. She hopes to use her platform here at GCL to instill that same interest within underrepresented demographics and provide opportunities to bring students of all backgrounds together as one community. Rishi began her journey with technology and coding at the young age of eight and has been thankful for that head start. Her mission is to encourage other kids to get involved with these fields at a young age as well through workshops, camps, conferences, and community service opportunities.
